Terms of Service
Effective date: September 12, 2026
These terms govern your use of ebotcpa.com, operated by ebotCPA PLLC, a Texas professional limited liability company. By using this site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. No professional relationship is created by this site
Browsing this site, using a calculator, or submitting a form does not create a CPA-client relationship. It does not obligate us to act for you, and it does not start any deadline running in your favor.
A professional relationship begins only when we have issued and you have signed a written engagement letter, and — where representation before the IRS is part of the engagement — the IRS has accepted a Form 2848 naming us.
2. What we do, and what we do not do
ebotCPA provides accounting, tax, assurance, and advisory services. Ebot Mbi is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, license #127163, and is an Enrolled Agent admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Representation before the IRS is performed within the scope permitted by Treasury Circular 230 §10.3.
We are not a law firm and we do not practice law. Matters that require an attorney are referred to independent counsel of your choosing.
3. Information on this site is general
Everything published here — pages about IRS notices, collection procedure, deadlines, and resolution options — is general information about how the tax system works. It is not advice about your situation. Tax law, IRS procedure, and the deadlines in your own notice change and vary by case.
Act on your own notice, not on this page. Deadlines run from the date printed on the document the IRS sent you.
4. Calculators and fee estimates
The calculators on this site produce non-binding estimates from the figures you enter. They are not quotes, not tax advice, and not a determination that you qualify for any IRS program. Actual fees and scope are confirmed only in a written engagement letter, after we have reviewed transcripts, notices, and supporting documents.
5. Fees
Resolution work is sold in phases. Each phase is quoted and paid before work on it begins, and you may stop after any phase. Your Case Analysis fee is credited in full toward your Phase 2 fee if you proceed; the credit is capped at the Phase 2 fee and is not refundable in cash.
Fees for any engagement are governed by that engagement letter, which controls over anything published on this site.
6. No guaranteed outcomes
We do not promise any particular result. Whether the IRS accepts a collection alternative, abates a penalty, releases a levy, or grants any other relief depends on your facts, your compliance history, and the exercise of IRS discretion. Nothing on this site is a representation that a specific outcome will be obtained.
7. Communications
By giving us your email address or phone number you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry. Marketing email can be stopped using the unsubscribe link. Text messages can be stopped by replying STOP. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Your responsibilities
Information you give us must be complete and accurate. We rely on it. If you engage us, you remain responsible for filing your own returns and making your own payments unless the engagement letter says otherwise, and for meeting deadlines we have told you about.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use this site to transmit unlawful content, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, interfere with its operation, or submit another person's information without authority.
10. Intellectual property
The content of this site, including text, page structure, calculators, and graphics, is owned by ebotCPA PLLC and protected by copyright. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not republish, sell, or use them commercially without written permission. IRS forms, publications, and statutory text referenced here are works of the United States government.
11. Third-party links
Links to the IRS, the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, and other outside sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
12. Disclaimer
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, ebotCPA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is current or complete.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, ebotCPA PLLC and its members and personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of your use of this site — including reliance on any calculator, article, or estimate published here.
Our total liability arising from your use of this site is limited to $100, or, where a signed engagement letter exists, to the amount stated in that engagement letter, which controls.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under Texas law or under the rules of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify ebotCPA PLLC against claims arising from your misuse of this site or your violation of these terms.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Before filing suit, the parties will attempt to resolve any dispute through mediation in Dallas County, Texas. Any dispute not resolved in mediation will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
17. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement about your use of this site. They do not modify any signed engagement letter, which controls over these terms for the services it covers.
